Running at Sunrise

Now that we're about halfway through our first full day of camp, I think we all have a little better idea of what this week will actually be like.

We went on a 2 mile run this morning, which wasn't all that difficult, although it was really hot. After the run, we did some abs, then went inside to have breakfast at the all-you-can-eat buffet. Needless to say, unlimited, free (from our point of view, at least) food is never a bad thing, especially when it tastes good.

Morning practice was fairly difficult; definitley worse than yesturday's, at least for the group I was in. We did a 1.5 hour IM set with surprise sprint free at the end, but I heard that the technique practice wasn't that bad, so I'm looking foreward to tonight.

After practice, Neil took us to Chick-fil-A, one of the best fast food chains in existance.

Now on to some notes about this blog. Jeff suggested that everyone on the team try to contribute at least one post at some point during the week, but that's about as likely as us having to miss a practice due to a blizzard. I'm pretty sure that Jeff will post at least a few times, if he ever gets around to making an account, that is. If not, then I guess the three people actually reading this blod will get to listen to me for the whole week.

Finally, I apologize in advance if the quality of the posts keeps declining due to exhaustion, soreness, or simply laziness on my part.

ER out
